Accelerating Harvest - Speed Breeding at the John Innes Centre UK with Heliospectra LED Grow Lights

John Innes Centre has accelerated harvest cycles, improved crop quality and crop consistency by deploying Heliospectra’s Elixia LED Grow Lights in their Speed Breeding Project. The study found Bench turns were faster as crops mature in 8 weeks instead of the normal 4 to 5 months leading them to 6 harvests per year. The crop quality Improved as the plants looked better and are healthier when compared to those under HPS lights.
