35000 Public Charging Points Planned In Flanders

35000 Public Charging Points Planned In Flanders

By 2025, Flanders must have 35000 publicly accessible charging points. Flemish Minister of Mobility Lydia Peeters will issue a call, later this month, for projects for (semi-) public charging infrastructure on private land.

The Flemish government approved the vision memorandum "Clean Power For Transport 2030" last Friday. This memorandum contains the objectives to make transport in Flanders greener and to develop charging infrastructure, in order to achieve a CO2 emission reduction of 23 % by 2030.
